In the past few days, March 20-22, Coocaf? participated in a Symposium show casing the culture the coffee from the Mountains of Manhua?u, MG, for the second year consecutive. The event has the objective of boosting the regional economy, further developing the coffee farms and improving the quality of coffee produced in the mountains of Forests Minas.

With 2 stands, baristas, and a comfortable space to receive their cooperators, Coocaf? showed its presence in the Fair. In addition, the cooperative sponsored the official kit and magazine from event, and the Coffee’s Workshop from IWCA – International Women’s Coffee Alliance.

The cooperative still supported the Business Roundtable from Sebrae and was represented by the CEO, Fernando Cerqueira, who was discussant in the lecture “Dimension and Importance of Coffee Culture from Forests Minas”.

The event, which is already internationally known, has received illustrious presences such as the Executive Director from ICO – International Coffee Organization -, Rob?rio Silva, and the Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Supply of Minas Gerais, Elmiro Alves do Nascimento. Both made a point to by one of the Coocaf? stands to have a “little coffee”.

Created in 1997, the Symposium is now in its 17th edition and is a realization of the Association of Commercial, Industrial and Agribusiness of Manhua?u (Aciam).
