In the last day 22, Coocaf? received the visit of buyers of Special Coffees, Johan Pesenti and Michael Pollack, which were presents in the roundtable of Sebrae, during the Symposium of Manhua?u, on the day before, where they met the cooperative.

Besides the buyers, representatives of Sebrae – institution that organized the visit – , of Sicoob Credilivre and Directors, Counselors and employees from Coocaf? participated of the visit.

In the begin of programming, the visitors were received in the Warehouse Areado, at Lajinha, MG. The CEO of Coocaf?, Fernando Romeiro de Cerqueira, made an institutional presentation and spoke about the characteristics and challenges of coffee producers from region.

Then, the presents made a tour for the warehouse and participated of one Coffee round of tests, with the Q Grade of Coocaf? Adriano Sousa. The group followed to the house of the Cooperator Coocaf? C?lio Fonseca, where they proved a delicious local food and toured in the coffee crop.

From the visit, the points that attracted the most attention from Johan and Michael – the buyers of coffee – were the work in the family farming regime and the beauty of the mountainous region.
